Marie degrades hurricane category I, is located 1190 km west of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, reports the National Weather Service.
The storm has sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour and gusts of 185.
Its cloud bands favor the contribution of moisture to the northwestern states of the country where the expected heavy rains and rains less intense in Baja California Sur and high waves of 1-3 meters off the coast of the state.
