'Marie' degrades hurricane category I

Marie degrades hurricane category I, is located 1190 km west of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, reports the National Weather Service. 

The storm has sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour and gusts of 185. 

Its cloud bands favor the contribution of moisture to the northwestern states of the country where the expected heavy rains and rains less intense in Baja California Sur and high waves of 1-3 meters off the coast of the state.

Heavy rains are expected in much of the country

The regions of northwest, north and west of the country continue to be affected by a zone of instability generated by a convergence line, and potential cause heavy rains accompanied by strong thunderstorms and hail in those regions. 

The (SMN) National Weather Service said a second zone of instability is associated to a low-pressure trough and be located in the north and northeast of the country, it will cause heavy rains to very loud with thunderstorms and hail, and occasional intense in San Luis Potosi. 

The tropical wave number 20 will extend over the Yucatan Peninsula and continue its westward movement causing increasing cloudiness and heavy rain potential to very strong, showers and thunderstorms in the Yucatan Peninsula, southeast, south, east and center of the country , with occasional intense in Veracruz. 

The remnants of Tropical Wave 19 will strengthen the potential of heavy rain on the west. 

In the northwest and north of the nation continue to generate warm air heat wave with temperatures ranging between 35 and 45 degrees Celsius in these regions during the forecast period.
