60.2 kilos removed tumor in the ovary to a Mexican woman

Doctors of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) have managed to remove a tumor from 60.2 kilos stayed in the ovary of a woman of 51 years in the town of Los Cabos, located in the state of Baja California Sur (northwestern Mexico) . 

According to the director of the General Hospital of Zone 26 Cabo San Lucas, Moses Aaron Nunez, no global precedent of a similar case of intra-abdominal tumors. 

Nunez showed that in the intervention, which lasted four hours, the patient was removed both ovaries (one that had the tumor and another 60.2 kilos and weighed five kilos) and the matrix. 



The operation was carried out last July, five years after it hosted in the reproductive tract of a patient, identified as Mercedes Talamantes, tumor began to grow. 

Speaking to local media, the patient said she felt weird walking without bulging abdomen, then argued, had been accustomed to walk with a tumor which, he said, caused him a serious depression. 

Due to this condition, she stayed in her house until one of his daughters persuaded her to go to the doctor.
