The new reservation record 6 Plus Apple iPhone exceeds demand and one month delayed delivery

The new iPhone 6 will be released on September 19 in the United States, but the company began taking orders online Thursday.

While the Plus models, with a larger 5.5-inch screen, have a waiting list of up to one month, the 4.7-inch version is still available for the 19th, as shown on Apple website.

The websites of partner operators Apple, Verizon Wireless, AT & T and Sprint Corp, also warn of delays of up to six weeks.

Apple says that the pace of orders to date has exceeded demand by any of his previous iPhones.

"The response to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has been amazing, with a record number of pre-orders overnight. Previous orders are currently available online or through the Apple App Store," said spokeswoman Trudy Muller.

Apple usually deal with problems in the supply of iPhones, especially in the years in which redesigns smartphones presented. The devices have larger screens and now some analysts anticipate that the initial production would be slower.

Apple's suppliers are struggling to have enough screens ready for new devices as they try to redesign a panel component production that has had problems, sources told Reuters the production line last month.

It was not clear if the setback could limit the number of phones initially available to consumers, the sources said.

Also, Chinese consumers may have to wait until the end of the year before they can buy the iPhone 6 Apple has yet to set a release date for China's largest mobile phone market in the world.

Apple unveiled its new iPhone models with a clock and a new mobile payment service on Tuesday.

Chief Executive and business cellular telephone company AT & T, Ralph de la Vega said in an investor conference in New York that orders for iPhone 6 have already exceeded last year and last.

"It's wonderful to wake up in the morning and know that you have hundreds of thousands of orders before even having had a cup of coffee," said the executive after ensuring that got up at 3 am, when his company began accepting commissions from new device.
