A plane carrying ten people on board, including a child, it crashed today in a jungle area in southern Colombia, said the country's aviation authority.
The device registration HK-4755 Navajo PA type that belongs to the Laser company, crashed after takeoff from the town of Araracuara jungle department of Caqueta, Colombia's Civil Aviation Authority said via his Twitter account.
The aircraft took off at 14:50 local time (19:50 GMT) and hours later was located in a jungle area in the neighboring province of Amazonas which borders Peru and Brazil.
"Found rugged aircraft HK-4755 in Puerto Santander, Amazonas" reported Aeronautics your Twitter account, which does not reveal the lucky travelers may have injured running.
Previously the Colombian Air Force (FAC) had undertaken reconnaissance to locate the device in the jungle.
The plane, which according to local media was commanded by Captain Luis Eduardo Patino, had landed at the airport in Araracuara from Florence, capital of the department of Caquetá.
The FAC and Aerocivil undertake investigations to determine what caused the accident while operating Rescue was dispatched to the area.
