Apple achieved record orders for the iPhone 6

Apple won a record four million orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus last Friday, its first day on sale online.

"Demand for new iPhones exceeded supply and while a significant number will be sent to customers on Friday and throughout September, many orders will be delivered in October," the company said in a statement released Monday.

Last Friday, some customers who tried to buy the phone at the company encountered delays while others reported that the iPhone 6 Plus was exhausted.

Apple usually has problems with iPhone orders, which have been minimized after opening a data center in North Carolina. Nevertheless, it is expected that the iPhone 6 will be the best selling in the history of the company phone, so it's no surprise that the company's servers have been overwhelmed.

The new devices will be on sale from September 19 in stores in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK.

From Friday 26, the new models will be available in more than 20 countries, including Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
