Looking 'beyond' images ("These groups will draw on the most important news production, global mediated events are critical nutrient," )

Show the everyday in social networks using imagery is a way to "transcend" among Internet users, said the academic Department of Sociocultural Studies Iteso, Eduardo Quijano.

"The pictures of everyday life, both individual and social, not only in the Mexican context, and not just in young people is what sets the standard in the management of content in social networks", emphasized the academic Institute of Technology and Estudios Superiores de Occidente (Iteso).

He explained that the articulation of Instagram and other image capture platforms with networks like Twitter is the trend and this relationship is regarded as a "marriage", which does not necessarily imply a decrease in the exchange of other content.

These music or videos through hyperlinks, for example, but the exchange of images can be seen as "a kind of chronicle of the personal life and as a reflection of the context they are living," he said.

In a statement, Quijano noted that the contents are not originally created by users having different dynamic. "If there is such big news, relatively distant, as the abdication of a king, which means cup, it becomes an important content."

He added that also happens with football, including those who do not like the sport to say I hate or laugh, "but it is the individual with significant major media content platform in terms of the subject, who translates with wit, humor, political, very different "tint.
He also said that "to reach large scale reproduction of content has to go through a means."

To tell the academic, social networks will allow more microblogging, which is a mode that lets you publish and send short messages, mostly text, and that users leave the circuit film, television and news and enter communities place their agendas in a more comprehensive manner.

It also found that the integration of tools, such as Twitter with Instagram, has a better chance of joint and allow users to combine different languages and to create their own social networks.

A study on the habits of Internet users in Mexico 2014, conducted by the Mexican Internet Association (Amipci), the country had 51.2 million Internet users at the end of 2013, of which nine out of ten used a social network.

The average age of users in social networks is four years and is "the main activity to communicate with friends."

The most commonly used is Facebook, followed by Twitter, YouTube and Google +, according to the study "MKT digital and social media in Mexico 2013", also performed by the Amipci.

The results of this study show that 96 percent of Mexican Internet users is registered to Facebook, Twitter 69 percent, 65 percent to Youtube, Google 57 percent to 38 percent + and LinkedIn.

Quijano said that the use of Facebook increases in older people, because it "expands in a fantastic way with the most persistent links reunion.

He explained that "does not aspire to have new friends but meet you again. It is a type of application that requires another temporality implies more permanence. "

Twitter on the other hand, says the academic, offers greater freedom, which is what attracts the younger, as the lack of restrictions to receive or publish content as Facebook circuits are "closed".

He also said that Twitter has begun to make other use of language through puns, palindromes, combination of words from other languages and emoticons due to the brevity of 140 characters, which considers challenging.
