The Ministry of Health Jalisco (SSJ) announced today that during the epidemiological week 28, with cut to 10 July, a case of influenza B occurred in a 35 year-old resident of the village of Tlaquepaque.
He said the YTD in Jalisco is 766 cases of influenza and 93 deaths.
He noted that of the reported cases, 80 percent corresponds to influenza A (H1N1) and the remainder A (H3N2) influenza, influenza A, influenza type B and non-subtyped.
He noted that 73 percent of the cases it has filed in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, and municipalities with the highest number are Guadalajara, Zapopan, Tlaquepaque, Tonala and Tlajomulco de Zuniga.
He said that the deaths, 81 were due to influenza type A (H1N1) (87 percent) and the remainder (12) were subtyped, while 85 percent of the deaths occurred in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara.
He noted that nationally seven thousand 229 cases of influenza and 756 deaths were recorded.
