It is called super moon and the last with features, which can be seen in this 2014.
The phenomenon is due to having the closest approach to Earth's natural satellite in its elliptical orbit.
It is the third super moon this year and the third consecutive month in which it is given.
The previous two were on 12 July and 10 August.
During the early hours of Tuesday it remained mostly cloudy across much of the Valley of Mexico, but still the moon was seen for a while.
