On Wednesday thousands of fish were found dead on the shore of the lagoon and this weekend the fishermen's cooperative Cajititlán reported a similar new fish mortality. Therefore, staff of the State Attorney for Environmental Protection (Proepa) rushed to the scene to corroborate the death of fish in the glass, in the town of Tlajomulco de Zuniga.
After a tour and interview fishermen, the Ministry of Environment and Territorial Development (Semadet) through Proepa determined the activation of the contingency plan. Brigades Semadet be moved to place to coordinate the removal of dead fish and lead them to a tank with the right features.
Up to 14 hours on Sunday had taken 34 tons of fish, Semadet reported.

On Sunday, both Semadet as the State Unit of Civil Protection and the Ministry of Rural Development (Seder) worked collaboratively to the removal of dead animals and disposal.
