2 dead, 9 missing after a building collapsed in Paris

"There is hope of finding them alive," said firefighters spokesman, working with a brigade of trained and noted that search efforts can last up to 48 hours dogs. 

Apparently the building had a metal structure that may have created internal pockets in the rubble where the missing can be found. 


Four people were rescued and are in serious condition, while eleven others were injured under consideration, the minister said the Interior, Bernard Cazeneuve, whom the site of the tragedy moved, noting that it has launched the emergency plan and have mobilized significant human and material resources, to 120 firefighters. 


The four-storey building, located next to the railway station of the town, collapsed after a huge explosion about 05.20 hours GMT in the morning was heard, causing it to sink. 

"Apparently the explosion was due to gas, there are some elements that go in this direction, but there is an ongoing investigation and at the moment we are not sure of the causes of it," said Cazeneuve journalists who went to the scene of the facts. 

The interior minister said there are "a number of important potential victims, more than fifteen."
