The number of deaths from Ebola in West Africa continues to increase and has reached 350 thousand, of which 106 correspond to the last two recorded days, confirmed yesterday the World Health Organization (WHO).
Of these deaths, 95 took place in Liberia, where the situation is more serious and is considered to be vital to contain the spread of the virus if you want to control this outbreak, which also affects Guinea, Sierra Leone and to a lesser extent, Nigeria .
The data to date, according to information received by WHO of health authorities in the affected countries, show that cases of Ebola have been increased to 2 000 473, of which 972 were 907 in Liberia and Sierra Leone.
It is considered that in these two countries, accumulating 576 and 374 deaths respectively dangerous virus transmission is high.
In Guinea, with 579 people infected, of which 396 have died, the transmission rate has decreased because of the level of awareness has been achieved between the public and "solutions" WHO considered "innovative".
