Providers begin to make new Apple iPad tablets

Apple Inc Different providers have already begun to manufacture the new iPad with the company will seek to revive dwindling sales of the tablet, said Monday the news agency Bloomberg, citing people with knowledge of the matter. 

APPLE (AAPL.NQ) who helped create the tablet market in 2010 with its first iPad, has seen its growth collapses since 2012, when larger phones became popular and people started to postpone replacing their tablets. 

Mass production of the iPad with a screen of 9.7 inches (24.6 centimeters) has already begun, and will probably be presented by the end of the current quarter or early next year, Bloomberg reported citing comments two people familiar with the matter. 

It is also entering a new production version of the iPad mini screen of 7.9 inches, which would be on the market by year-end, said Bloomberg. 

It was not possible to contact someone at Apple for comment on the report. 

Apple shipped 13.2 million iPads in the quarter ended in June, down 8 percent from a year earlier. Sales of the device, representing 15 percent of company revenues, fell short of Wall Street expectations for the second quarter.
