"Robin Williams was beloved in Nintendo," said the American subsidiary of the Japanese group in a statement released Friday.
"We appreciate the outpouring of support from the players and we heard the request of the fans honor him in an upcoming game," said the statement.

"For now, we have not made any decisions, but do not rule out this request," he told AFP a spokesman for Nintendo in Japan.
