At least thirteen people were killed and 35 others were injured after the explosion of a car bomb at a checkpoint at the northern entrance of Baghdad, sources told Efe Iraqi police.
The terrorist attack was directed against the security forces who were in command of the checkpoint located in the Al Kazimiyah Shiite majority in northern Baghdad.
In addition to those killed, the explosion caused a fire that affected at least fifteen civilians cars were parked nearby.
