An international organization that evaluates the situation after wars says housing reconstruction in Gaza after the war with Israel will take 20 years.
Shelter Cluster, co-sponsored by the UN agency and the Red Cross reported that 17 thousand housing units in Gaza were destroyed or badly damaged during the 5000 war and in need of repair due to damage suffered in previous military campaigns.
More than 2 000 100 Palestinians, mostly civilians, were killed in the war. Israel lost 71, 65 of them soldiers.
