They will perform a tribute to "Cri- Cri" for his 80 years

The National Arts Centre (Cenart) recalled Thursday the Mexican children's music composer Francisco Gabilondo Soler, for the 80th anniversary of his character 'The cantor cricket'. 

The grandson of 'Cri Cri', Oscar Gabilondo, stated that during the First International Congress of Art Education Vivarte, which will be held in the Cenart, this tribute will take his grandfather. 

'From 17:00 there will be an exclusive segment dedicated to Gabilondo, where Reynosa Philharmonic Orchestra will perform its main tracks. 

"For me and the family of Francisco Gabilondo, who have given us a small space, it's great, because it was a singer who promoted the imagination, creativity that eventually it became a part of family identity in the country 'he stressed.
Other activities related to the 80th anniversary of 'The cricket cantor', Oscar said that soon host a conference to detail the events with which the legacy of the interpreter will be remembered. 

He also said that even though he has been offered TV projects the image of Gabilondo, he has not accepted because his grandfather never wanted him to be taken to the animation. 

'My grandfather never wanted him to be taken to the animation or platform, and he encouraged the imagination in everyone. We defended a lot, through Francisco Gabilondo Soler "Cri Cri 'Foundation which I represent, that his legacy continues as before. 

"Obviously you want your music still heard by children and adults, and that each imagined and create your own story, so if you take him to the essence tele and thought would be lost, and we do not allow 'he said. 

The First International Congress of Art Education Vivarte will be held from July 31 to August 2, where more than 500 people, including teachers, teachers, philosophers, journalists, actors, theater actors, writers and more will be presented.
