The interaction of a trough that has been maintained for several days established on the Campeche with the entry of moist air from the Caribbean Sea this evening brought heavy rain and winds up to 80 km / hr on the Yucatan capital, especially south of Mérida. 

Roberto Pinzón Álvarez, Director General of OCPY Conagua, reported that according to the data collected from different stations in the city, Mérida Meteorological Observatory reported winds up to 80 km / hr southeast component with a cumulative rainfall of 30.2 mm. 



He indicated that OCPY station in the west of Merida, were recorded 27.2mm of rain, while in Chuburná reported 13mm in the 11mm and the Cinvestav CICY 8mm. 

  Regarding the winds, the federal official stressed that also reported 67 km / hr in CICY station, 64 km / hr in Chuburná and 43 km / hr in the CINVESTAV-Mérida. The winds were southeast component.
