Lupita Nyong'o could become a permanent member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences,

Lupita Nyong'o could become a permanent member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the same as 4 months gave him the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her moving role in "12 Years Slave" (Steve McQueen, 2013). 

Actress and model 31 was invited this morning, along with 271 other people, to be part of the academy's most important world cinema. Those who join the Academy become permanent members vote for the Oscars. 
If Nyong'o accepts the invitation, you will need to attend a gala ceremony next month of September, which will welcome you to join the organization of over 6000 members. 






According to Los Angeles Times, 77 percent of the list is comprised of men, 94 percent of them are white and most are white. 

As is tradition, the Academy invited actors, directors, producers, editors, technicians, designers, photographers, makeup artists and other specialists of cinema. 

Those who join the Academy become permanent members vote for the Oscars. 

The list also includes Steven Price, Lucinda Syson, Andy Nicholson, Mark Sanger, Niv Adiri, Glenn Freemantle, Tim Webber and Chris Lawrence, who participated from different platforms performing "Gravity" (Alfonso Cuarón, 2013), the film 7 that swept the Oscars in March. 

Lupita is currently preparing to act in "The Star Wars: Episode VII.", Which will be released on December 18, 2015 also will lend his voice to a version of Jon Favreau of "The Jungle Book" by Disney and co-produce and star in an adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie book, "Americanah". 

Nyong'o has also had great success out of the screen. Vogue chosen as the cover image for editing in July. It was also named by People magazine as the "most beautiful woman in the world in 2014." And if that were not enough, is an ambassador for Lancôme, one of the world's most prestigious French beauty brands.
