The Senate received a proposal from the Federal Executive to appoint independent directors of the Board of Directors of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex).
The Executive also sent for approval the appointments of independent members of the Technical Committee of the Mexican Petroleum Fund for Stabilization and Development.
During the regular session on Tuesday, the Senate received and turned over to the Energy Commission's proposal for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1995, Mario Molina Pasquel and Henriquez is ratified as an independent director of CFE for a period of four years , ie until 2018.
He proposed Philemon Ruben Flores García, for a period of two years; Luis Fernando Gerardo Pardo Street, for three years, and Jesus Enrique Zambrano Benítez, for five years. All proposals for analysis and eventual Senate ratification.
The federal government also proposed for the position of independent members of the Board of Directors of Pemex ratification of Alberto Tiburcio Celorio, for a period of two years.

Also were proposed to serve on the Technical Committee of the Mexican Petroleum Fund for Stabilization and Development, the following candidates: Rafael Rangel Sostmann, for the period ending December 31, 2015.
Luis Manuel Enrique Tellez Kuenzler, for the period ending on the last day of 2017; Federico Reyes Heroles, for the period ending December 31, 2019; and Arturo Manuel Fernández Pérez, for the period ending on December 31, 2021.
After receiving the proposals, the Energy Commission held a meeting this afternoon and agreed work plan to analyze and propose to the full Senate for ratification an opinion of the new directors of Pemex and CFE.
It is anticipated that the committee in session on Wednesday and Thursday for this legislative process.
