Four prisoners were killed and 11 injured in a fight in the common prison "El Abra" city of Cochabamba, Bolivia located downtown, as reported on Monday the police commander, Colonel Alberto Suárez.
Cochabamba police chief said that on the morning of Monday was a fight between two gangs vied for the internal control of the prison.
"The initial report is four dead and eleven wounded," Suarez told reporters in Cochabamba.
In the Viedma Hospital has reported that four people were shot dead by firearm.
"The prisoners took part Sunday night in a verbena (nightlife) held with the permission of the governor of the prison of El Abra. Afterwards there was a fight between two groups with use of firearms and other objects", has revealed the chain A.
The dead included two inmates with extensive law enforcement and regarded as the most dangerous prison in Cochabamba public records.
