China sends team to Sierra Leone to curb the epidemic of Ebola

A team of Chinese lab Tuesday left 59 people to Sierra Leone as part of China's latest efforts to help West African countries to contain the epidemic caused by the Ebola virus. 
The team, from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of China, established its headquarters in the Friendship Hospital of Sierra Leone and China, on the outskirts of the capital, Freetown, the National Commission for Health and Family Planning in China reported. 

Chinese experts, who will provide both experience and medical equipment, and reviews conducted laboratory observation tasks to help Sierra Leone to improve testing for the disease, has completed the commission. 
A total of 115 Chinese medical experts have traveled to Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone despite the high risk of transmission of Ebola hemorrhagic fever. 
In addition to allocate 30 million yuan in aid last month, the Chinese government announced last week it will offer 200 million yuan (32.54 million dollars) in humanitarian aid for African countries and international organizations in order to control the spread of the virus. 
According to the latest report from the World Health Organization (WHO), 2,400 of the 4,784 confirmed cases of Ebola have been fatal.
