They will celebrate with Charles Chaplin film series in Mexico

Includes tapes The Kid, Modern Times, 'City Lights', 'The Gold Rush', 'Circus' and 'The Great Dictator'. 

To create public for alternative content and bring an icon of world cinema to new generations, Cinepolis and National Film presented the series 'Chaplin forever' consists of six films remastered, for the first time, will be screened in cinemas of Mexico. 
The series, which includes tapes The Kid, Modern Times, 'City Lights', 'The Gold Rush', 'Circus' and 'The Great Dictator', will begin this August 7 at 50 Cinepolis rooms of 21 cities and in 17 art galleries and the National Film Archives. 

At a press conference, Ramon Ramirez, director of Public Relations at Cinepolis, said after negotiations with the French company MK2, which owns the distribution rights of the films, Mexico was chosen as the first venue dedicated to Charlie Chaplin cycle (1889-1977) which is also present in Spain, France and the UK. 
"We want to provide alternative content that is attractive to film public niche for grandparents who want to remember these films on the big screen and now can take their grandchildren to know the work of one of the greatest filmmakers "he explained.
