Governor Ruben Moreira laid the foundation stone of what will be the Polytechnic University of Ramos Arizpe, in which 30 million dollars invested in the first phase and 50 million pesos posteriorly in a lab and a library.
The new University has in the first stage with a full Teaching Unit consisting of a construction area of 2000 square meters 240.
This building Teaching Unit comprises of 14 teaching classrooms, a language lab, a computer lab, a conference room, a cultural and exhibition area as well as area school services for teachers, administrative offices and a green .
The new campus of the University is located in Santa Maria Sigma Boulevard Industrial Park and has an area of 16.7 hectares, and was donated by the family Mohamar.
The land, Liliana Aguirre said Sepulveda, Director Physical Infrastructure Coahuilense Educational Institute, was selected because it is located in an industrial park, which will facilitate linkages with enterprises.

For his part, Governor Ruben Moreira, who was accompanied by the holders of the legislative and judicial branches, in addition to Mayor Ricardo Aguirre said during the laying of the foundation stone of the University that Ramos Arizpe is the engine of Coahuila by the settlement of the automotive industry and other sectors.
He explained that the Polytechnic University will be a new option for young people in the Southeast region of Coahuila, and recognized the work done so far by the Technological University of Coahuila (UTC), also located in the industrial park.
The Governor explained that President Enrique Peña Nieto two universities committed to the organization, but at the end of the management will be seven universities. These settings are also 103 new preparatory for the entire entity in this 2014.
