Villahermosa.- Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) reported that company officials held a meeting with residents of 11 communities Nacajuca blocking the entrances to the Navigator IV well, explaining the need to provide maintenance to the facility.
In a statement, Pemex said that the meeting was attended by the deputy director of the Southern Region of Pemex Exploration and Production, José Luis Fong Aguilar; Manager's Responsibility and Social Development, Bosch Bernardo Hernández, and Deputy Veronica Perez Rojas.
Fong Aguilar reiterated the importance of the well Navigator IV access and technical staff can give Pemex maintenance urgently require these facilities, in order not to endanger people and the environment.
In turn, Bosch Hernandez said Pemex is open to dialogue and attention to the demands submitted by persons who feel affected by the oil industry, following the procedures established in accordance with the law.
