The MTV Video Music Awards are just around the corner and promises to be a great party as it was confirmed that Beyoncé will participate in the awards and everything points to offer a totally epic show. Also reported that the singer Michael Jackson will receive the Video Vanguard Award.
Beyoncé, 32, has been a winner of 11 awards from MTV either as a member of his former group Destiny's Child or solo career, is the favorite of the ceremony with eight nominations, among which are Video of the Year , Best Choreography and Best Female Singer for the song "Partition", among others.
Also her music video "Drunk In Love" alongside her husband Jay Z, was nominated for Best Collaboration.
The special award will receive that night, the Video Vanguard Award, previously given exponents of music of the caliber of Michael Jackson, Madonna, Peter Gabriel, REM, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.
Was also reported that the band Maroon 5 will participate in the awards, adding to the list next to Ariana Grande, Usher, Taylor Swift & 5 Seconds of Summer. The MTV Video Music Awards will be held on 24 August in Inglewood, California.
