Ready for the big screen (Darker than 'The Avengers' )

Burbank- Despite his lineage perfect superhero, has always been some apprehension toward 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.

Since President of Marvel Studios flirted with the possibility of making a film based on the comic book about a team of intergalactic Pharisees, the proposal has been described by critics as risky, for fans and for the same Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. That will never bother to writer-director James Gunn, terror expert best known for 'Slither' 2006.

"I'm the same as people think it is a risk," Gunn said factly in a recent interview in a comfortable reclining chair in a dark screening room Disney Studios, the same room in the film intimate recently completed work on scanning and color 'The Guardians ... "which opens Friday.

Darker than 'The Avengers'

While fun group has similarities to the jumble of superheroes 'The Avengers', which grossed over 500 million thousand dollars worldwide, 'The Guardians of the Galaxy' includes more obscure characters Marvel mythology, plus a prologue which tells the time in which a young Peter Quill is ripped from the earth, completely set in space.

No mention is made Captain America. Neither Tony Stark. Neither Thor.

"In many ways, it is not a superhero movie," Gunn said. "It's a space adventure. We are not repeating the same Marvel. It's different. We are expanding the universe of Marvel. We're not copying in space. We're doing otherwise, it's probably risky, "he added.

Unlike 'The Avengers' in 2012, the leading team relied on five decades of superhero stories and five films, Gunn was given the task not only of adapting a comic series that has a few years but to establish an atmosphere of camaraderie of a band of rebels interstellar including an insolent raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and a burly alien (played by wrestler Dave Bautista).

"It is a challenge because no one really knows who we are, and how great it is that we are starting from scratch," Bautista, who plays Drax the Destroyer said.
