The Attorney General's Office reported that a 36 year old man died after being mistaken for a deer by his peers with participating in a hunt in mountains near town of Acanche.
He specified that the fact was reported by ministerial agents assigned to the municipality of Kanasín, who reported that in the 7.5 kilometer stretch Acanceh-Canicab was found the body of Julius Caesar Canché Medina.
The state agency said the body was identified by the victim's father, Aniceto Medina, who said the day before with his son and three others went into the bush to hunt deer and separated.
