Relief agencies suspended yesterday afternoon search 8 miners trapped in a cave in southern Honduras to resume today, but with little hope that survived.
The accident occurred Wednesday in the collapse of one of the tunnels of the mines of San Juan de Arriba, the municipality of El Corpus (Choluteca department, 160 km south of Tegucigalpa, the Honduran capital).
Three of the eleven miners who were inside the mine made it out alive on Friday after a desperate rescue the rescuers took earth and stones with his bare hands.
