Discover the latest international trends in corporate sustainability

The event will be held on June 3 at Kinepolis Madrid and provide the latest advances in transparency, sustainable living in cities and the relationship between national brand and sustainability. The registration period is open until May 29.



Forética organized for the second consecutive year's event in Spain for responsible and sustainable business management. Under the theme "Leadership. Change. Innovation. "Meeting-where you expect about 350 attendees-present trends that are driving the development of CSR internationally by renowned experts in the field. The plenary session of the forum will feature a speech by Stefan Crets, Executive Director of CSR Europe, which will address the outlook of CSR in Europe in this new political and institutional stage and the challenges of social innovation and the recent European Directive on disclosure of nonfinancial information.

In the parallel session on "Sustainable Living in Cities" María Elisa Barahona participate Nieto, Director of Sustainability and Mobility Planning of the City of Madrid, Arturo Garcia, Director of Communication and Sustainability at IKEA, and Ana Tarradell Lledo, General Manager of Portfolio, BT Global Services Europe.

The session will address the latest trends in development of transparency and sustainability reporting will include the involvement of Mark Brand, Director of External Relations for Europe of the International Committee for the Integrated Report, IIRC, Butruille Etienne, Director of Services for Climate Change and Sustainability KPMG and Jillis Herpers, Executive Director and Director of ASG Services for Europe, Middle East and Africa MSCI.

CSR 2014 Spain also will feature an exhibition - one of its kind in Spain - high impact practices under the CSR MarketPlace Forética V. Here are the attendees who choose to vote the best CSR initiatives of the year.

The 34 initiatives that will be presented have been divided into four categories: "Responsible and Biodiversity", with 11 initiatives; "Skills for Jobs", with 10 initiatives; "Community Investment" 9 initiatives; and "Integrity and Good Governance", with 4 initiatives. Selected practices represent a wide variety of companies, both domestic and multinational, large and SMEs; public entities and NGOs.

According to the president of the Board of Forética, Yolanda Erburu, "this fifth edition of the CSR MarketPlace Forética allow us to meet nearly 40 initiatives leading companies, NGOs and governments based on CSR as an element of added value. It is well established as an act of absolute reference event in Spain in sustainability. On June 3, we will learn about the initiatives that address key sustainability challenges of our country, as proposals on job creation, increased competitiveness and protecting the natural environment. Selected initiatives demonstrate that sustainability is a key competitive differentiation element of Spanish companies. "
