A Mexican man who had disappeared after resisting treatment for tuberculosis was found and captured, officials in California yesterday.
Roses Eduardo Cruz, 25, was from an area of Mexico known for a type of treatment resistant tuberculosis. He was arrested on Monday night in Kern County, Stephen Taylor, district deputy attorney San Joaquin County reported.
Roses Cruz still can not be transferred to San Joaquin County because one must first ensure that it is free from disease and that can last for weeks, Taylor said.
