A twin-engine passenger company TransAsia Airways plane crashed yesterday while trying to make an emergency landing on the island of Penghu, Taiwan west, and at least 47 people died in the accident. This was announced by Minister of Transport of the country, Yeh Kuang-shih. 

It is presumed that a typhoon that lashed the area at the time of the tragedy was determining the fate of the aircraft. The plane was on a domestic flight between the cities of Kaohsiung (in its namesake city, southwest of Taiwan) and Macong 54 of them children-four passengers and five crew members on board. Two of the victims are French nationals, local authorities confirmed. About eleven people are injured, some consideration.
