Rubén Aguirre, the remembered Professor Jirafales El chavo del 8 was admitted on Saturday 23 August in the morning and remains under medical care at a clinic in Mexico.
Arthur, son of the actor, told the local press that he was hospitalized for symptoms of weakness and exhaustion after a trip to Puerto Vallarta. "My dad is a little delicate," he told the Televisa network, but said it is not serious.
He explained that the artist, 80, suffers from diabetes for two decades, and this disease has affected his kidneys due to the large number of drugs which depends to manage their condition.
