Heavy rain with thunderstorms and hail will dominate most of the country due to a zone of instability in the northwestern, northern, western, central and southern territory, interacting with the entry of moisture from the Pacific Ocean, the National Weather Service (SMN).
The agency explained that the zone of instability with probability of 10 percent for cyclone development is located on the northwestern Gulf of Mexico, 220 kilometers east-northeast of Matamoros, Tamaulipas thereby fostering strong potential for heavy rains on time in Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon strong.
A low-pressure trough over the Yucatan Peninsula, to the east and southeast of Mexico, will encourage potential heavy rains in Chiapas, Veracruz, Tabasco, Oaxaca, Yucatan and Quintana Roo.
