Tropical Wave 25, this Sunday located 90 kilometers southwest of Chetumal, Quintana Roo, has 40 percent chance of becoming a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours, said Civil Protection.
In a statement, the National Civil Protection Coordination Tropical Wave explained that spans the west of the Yucatan Peninsula, throughout the state of Tabasco, to the maritime zone of Chiapas.
The system holds potential for torrential rains in Chiapas, Tabasco and intense in Quintana Roo, as well as very strong in Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Campeche and Yucatan.
