As part of the ongoing campaign of the Government of the Republic against the illegal trade and informality, the Ministry of Health through the Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks (COFEPRIS) reports Assurance 398,848 pieces of medical devices violations of public health laws.
In the operation, which was conducted from a health complaint in the company "Medical Suture, SA de CV" in Mexico City, verifiers COFEPRIS found outdated medical equipment, with anomalies in product labeling and in disrepair .
